Lac du Jaunay
The Lac du Jaunay is a 114-hectare freshwater lake which is popular for fishing and outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, water sports or simply a nice long walk.
Donkey and carriage rides
The Calin Ca-ânes donkey farm next to the Domaine will take you round the shaded banks of the Lac du Jaunay on a donkey ride or in a donkey-drawn carriage.
Pop in and say hello to the little Irish donkeys, they love being stroked!
Take to the water in a canoe, kayak or pedalo!
Cano'Evasion on the left bank of the lake rents out canoes, kayaks, pedalos and fishing equipment.
Fishing
The Lac du Jaunay is a popular spot among fishing enthusiasts, who can fish to their heart's content all year round! The lake contains pike, pike-perch, carp, common rudd, tench, bream and perch.
Fishing permits can be bought at the reception.
Hiking
There are many hiking trails to explore around the Lac du Jaunay and the surrounding Pays des Achards area with beautiful landscapes and lots to see.

Mountain biking
The Lac du Jaunay makes a great playground for mountain bikers. The full distance around the lake is 12 km.

Geocaching
Set off on a modern-day treasure hunt with family and friends around Lac du Jaunay! All you need is a GPS to turn a long walk into a fun game as you try to uncover the 50 caches hidden around the lake! A GPS can be hired at the tourist office for €5 per day.
